| Summary | 0005509: OFType: replace Authoritive Status with Definition Confirmed state | ||||
| Description | The Object-Fact Type editor showed an 'Authoritive Status' field with three options (Authoritive / Non-Authoritive / Unknown). This concept has been redesigned to align with the existing confirmed/unconfirmed pattern already used for expressions and population tuples. The new 'Definition confirmed' checkbox signals whether the definition of a concept has been formally validated. This creates a consistent governance pattern across all three model layers:
An unconfirmed definition means the concept is still tentative or imported from an external source and not yet formally reviewed. A confirmed definition means it has been validated as the canonical definition in this model. | ||||

To not upset legacy models, they load as not specified. The checkbox in the OTFT Edit Dialog allows checking, unchecking, and putting it in an undefined state. |
