The End-User License Agreement was last updated in May 2020 and needed modernization to reflect the current product and legal landscape.

Changes made:

1. License scope: The previous wording restricted all use to "personal, non-commercial purposes", which contradicted the commercial licensing model. Now explicitly permits commercial use for all editions, with clear restrictions for Beta (testing only), Educational (academic only), and Evaluation (trial only) editions.

2. Fixed garbled punctuation in Content Restrictions section.

3. Fixed a typo ("extend" corrected to "extent") in Intellectual Property section.

4. Added Data Processing and Privacy clause: Discloses what technical data the Application may collect (crash reports, license validation, update checks), clarifies that model data is not transmitted without user action, and references GDPR compliance.

5. Added AI/LLM Services clause: Discloses that optional AI integrations may transmit model data to third-party providers, clarifies these features are off by default, and states that the user is responsible for reviewing AI-generated output.

6. Revised legal compliance from US-only to international: Now covers EU, Netherlands, US, and UN trade sanctions and export controls, reflecting the Company's Dutch headquarters.

7. Added Subscription Renewal and Expiration terms: Clarifies that subscriptions do not auto-renew, describes read-only mode after expiration, and states refund policy.

8. Softened the "Your Suggestions" clause: Replaced full IP assignment with a non-exclusive license scoped to betterment of the Application, with acknowledgment of significant contributions.

9. Updated the agreement date to April 18, 2026.
