Summary0005571: MCP tool permissions should support tri-state (allow / deny / ask user)
Description

The MCP server permission settings currently use a simple checked/unchecked toggle. This should be extended to a tri-state control:

  • Not checked: tool/resource is not allowed
  • Checked: tool/resource is allowed without prompting
  • Gray/indeterminate state: prompt the user for confirmation before executing

This gives users finer-grained control over which MCP operations execute automatically versus requiring explicit consent.
