Rob, could we ask you for a second pair of eyes on this one? We have not been able to reproduce it on demand here, so we cannot tell from our side whether the next build really fixes it.
What was changed:
- While the list of object-fact types is rebuilt after you apply a filter, the list is now held still and redrawn in one go. Previously a redraw could land halfway through the rebuild, drawing empty rows for entries that were in fact there - which is what made it look like the filter found nothing until you resized the panel.
- The list is now always redrawn after a filter is applied.
- A refresh that arrives while you are renaming an entry in the list is now retried afterwards instead of being discarded.
If you run into it again on the next build, the most helpful details are:
- which view was active: the multi-column list, or the details/report view
- whether the repository window was docked or floating
- what you did right before it happened: typed a keyword, clicked a letter tab, picked a saved filter, or was a model change / verify run going on
- whether the list was scrolled away from the top at that moment
- whether the rows were completely absent, or present but blank
And if you have used the new build for a while without seeing it, that is just as useful to hear - it would let us close this one. |
