When a dialog for picking an object or fact type opens, the first entry in the list is highlighted, but the rest of the dialog has not been told about it: the details beside the list stay empty or show the previous type, and confirming without clicking the list first does not use the highlighted entry.

Expected: whatever is highlighted when the dialog opens is the selection, and the dialog reflects it.
