Summary0001004: Empty card readers block startup
DescriptionHaving a floppy disk without diskette, or a card reader without a card, may prevent CaseTalk to start. When inserting a diskette or card makes the drive letter accessible and CaseTalk starts properly.

Workaround: Insert a diskette or card.
Cause: Any (historic) project file with an UNC path is converted to drive letters. Inactive drives prevent this conversion.

CaseTalk now tries to detect if the driveletter is active or not, preventing startup errors.
