DescriptionClosing CaseTalk will show a zombie process in the Task Manager. It appears Windows has difficulty closing the application fully. This may intervene with a new session of CaseTalk.

This appears to happen when unloading the plugins. As soon as the plugins are removed from the installation, the opening and closing works just fine.

A Windows API to check for network connectivity was accidentally called from the plugin. Windows fails to release the interface when unloading the plugin. This API call is now blocked for the plugins.

Sometimes the application still seems to hang as a background process even though the application closed.

CaseTalk 10.3 fixed a memory manager issue which occasionally crashes while unloading a plugin file when closing the application.

Fixing memory manager configuration in combination with InterProcessComponent adjustments seems to solve the closing issues.
