The IGX is okay, yet it seems to lack the Custom Attribute node.

Model files may contain characters which do not fit the UTF8 scheme. This may happen due to copy+paste actions, or even through BusinessGlossary export/import. CaseTalk just hardened the handling of those texts to prevent them to get written to XML files, and from importing them from external sources.
