Description

The relational diagram shows many-to-many relations as linking tables. This could be a drawing option to draw it as a table or a simple many-to-many relationship.

Both N:M and 1:1 tables which would require a linking table to implement in the database, the Relational Diagram can simply adjust the cardinality on the relationship. The diagram style allows to hide the linking tables from the generated diagram.
